The Medical Officers appointed in Directorate of AYUSH are recruited through Union Public service commission by advertising the vacancies in national dailies and selecting the candidates through appropriate selection methods adopted by UPSC.
For practising in AYUSH systems in NCT of Delhi, registeration with appropriate body is mandatory. Practitioners of Ayurveda and Unani are registered by Delhi Bharatiya Chikitsa Parshad. Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine deals with the registration of homoeopathic doctors.
For practising in AYUSH system of medicines, besides qualfications (governed by various acts) registeration with State Registering Authority is mandatory. The registering authorities verify the qualification of all applicants in accordance with the Act. In case of doubt about the qualification of a doctor, you can check their registration certificate.
All Ayush doctors working in Directorate of AYUSH are well qualified and are recruited through Union Public Service Commission.
